‘Vivarium’ Is An Episode Of ‘The Twilight Zone’ Stretched Into A Feature Film – A Review

Release Date: March, 2020

Starring: Jesse Eisenberg, Imogen Pott, Jonathan Aris, et al.

The premise is cool, intriguing even, but as soon as things get started it isn’t really sure what to do with itself.

Imogen Pott and Jesse Eisenberg are fun to watch as the stuck in a crazy loop couple (Gemma & Tom) forced to raise a psycho child_ alien freak or whatever it is that boy tossed upon them really is.

The major problem I had with this movie is how all its build-up lead to nothing and how we don’t even get crucial answers to certain important questions, like why Yonder (the weird estate) functions the way it does.

At the end of the movie, you’re left with one deep hole and a pool of unsatisfaction whirling up in it. What a waste!

Rinzy’s Rating: 2.5/5

Directed By: Lorcan Finnegan
