After 18 episodes, the third season of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow comes to an end, and it does so in a very RIDICULOUS manner. Funnily ridiculous, if there’s a phrase like that 😂.
I’ve always known the show to be goofy, but I never knew it could go to the lengths it went in this season finale. Most surprising of all is that in its silliness the episode actually works and we get the vibe and flow with the tide the show’s become known for.
The season started with The Legends trying to fix time anachronisms they themselves unleashed at the end of the previous season. And in their many adventures realized the fight, this time, was truly against an ancient demon named Mallus and his human minions, The Darhks. Even though I had my reservations about Damien Darhk’s continuous reoccurence on the show I quickly moved passed those differences as he and his daughter Nora effortlessly won me over with their shenanigans. Imagine me waiting months for the epic showdown between The big bad, The Legends and all six Anansi totems they struggled to find, only to see Mallus battle a giant sized TEDDY BEAR 🐻 (Mimo)… Like, WTF!!! 😱. The scenes were hilarious though, I fell down laughing and rubbing my aching tummy 😁, maybe you’d too, who knows?
I still maintain my stance, ‘Legends of Tomorrow’ is one of the best shows on TV 📺 right now. If you don’t agree, tell me why, or go argue with your umunna, 😎. I’m waiting… 🎤.

I didn’t think ‘Fifty Shades Freed’ was a bad movie. Granted, Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson’s chemistry is still very poor and the acting is mostly lackluster and unconvincing, but this third entry made more sense than the first two combined (my opinion, inugo? 😉). We got to know Jack Hyde’s obsession with Anna stems from his jealousy of the life Christian, which should’ve been his as they both had equal chances of being adopted by the Grey family. And we finally got to see Christian as a guy capable of more emotion than a sexual dominator.
Yes. The execution might’ve been poor, but you can’t totally dismiss the intent of the producers to make sense of the source material. I do feel the movie (and trilogy) would’ve been so much better if it didn’t take itself so serious only to falter in execution. We’ll just leave this correction, and more, for when an inevitable remake’s due or subsequent movies that’ll touch on the BDSM topic.
I give it a 5/10
Netflix has been around for sometime now distributing DVDs around the U.S.A. But since the release of ‘House of Cards’ in 2013 they haven’t slowed down and have continued to churn out more and more original contents with a promise to completely take over the market from traditional forms of programming. This daring move has seen them release so many critically acclaimed shows, and movies. As it seems, there’s definitely no stopping them.
With over 100+ original programmings and more being added to their catalogues daily, it’s almost impossible catching up to all in record time. But those who manage to binge-watch successfully attest to the quality of most of their shows. This makes it somewhat difficult to decide on a favorite.
Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Mindhunters, 13 Reasons Why, Sense 8, Narcos, A series of Unfortunate Events, Dear White People, Orange is the New Black, Ozark, Bojack Horseman, The Publisher and Glow are some of the beat works produced by Netflix.
So, I ask, which are your favorites? Feel free to choose up to five (5) shows that made you happy watching them.
